Texas' official NIL collective, Texas One Fund, is collaborating with Passes to onboard 40 of the top Longhorn student-athletes to our platform.This collaboration marks the first time an NIL collective is joining a content monetization platform. Unfortunately, after an incredible 2.5 years at Cameo I was one of the many impacted by the mass layoff yesterday morning, and I too will be rocking the green banner on my LinkedIn picture for a bit.It would be a lie to say I’m not sad about moving on. I put my heart and soul into talent acquisition, talent relations and talent marketing at Cameo. And I don’t really like to toot my horn like this but here we go🎷🎷🎷… I am proud of the talent I was able to bring on the platform at the height of their popularity or virality (Corn Kid, The Island Boys, Druski, Kodak Black, Atmosphere, Pink Sweat$, Michael Block; casts of The Rehearsal, Love Is Blind, Love Island, Jury Duty, The Ultimatum, Barstool Sports, Big Brother, The Challenge, + hundreds more) which in turn, helped pull Cameo into the forefront of the current cultural landscape. My passion for my job drove me to be the best version of me, in hopes that if I smashed my goals, this day would never come.Thank you to everyone who helped and mentored me along the way. I worked alongside the most talented, motivating, creative individuals that inspired me to wake up and crush it every single day. All my core memories with Cameo will be the ones I spent with our team. As heartbroken as I am, I wouldn’t trade my time at Cameo for anything.I’m anxious, but very excited to find the next company I’m this passionate about.
